The Community Archive: a small contribution with clear boundaries
On 2 June 2026, I invited people to send a short message for a possible Community Archive in the N-OS Developer Support Pack / DLC. It could be a thought, a wish, a reaction, a strange phrase that suited N-OS, or a note to other players. I wanted to leave room for something small and personal.
I suggested roughly 250–500 characters and welcomed any language. A slightly longer thought was fine too. The length was there to help contributors picture a short message, not to turn participation into an essay-writing task.
The rules were more definite: no advertising, links, spam, personal information or other people's names without permission. Contributors had to read the rules and allow their text to be used in N-OS materials. Before asking someone to write, I needed to explain where their words might end up.
I also made clear that submission would not guarantee inclusion. The archive was meant to contain selected messages that felt interesting, warm and appropriate for the game. That combination matters for a community invitation: make contributing approachable, while keeping the eventual use of the contribution clear.
